Dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival - Mexico

It is a Mexican holiday, focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars called ofrendas, honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favourite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts.

Vyshyvanka

Ukrainian national costume is called “vyshyvanka” – a plain white shirt made of linen and decorated with floral or ornamental embroidery.

Another part of the women traditional costume is “vinok” – a wreath made of real or fake flowers with long colorful ribbons attached to the back of it

The Tallest Wooden Church in the World

The tallest wooden church in the world, and the second tallest wooden structure in Europe, can be found in Sapanta Peri, Maramures of northwestern Romania. It has a 23 foot tall cross that weighs 1,000 lbs, on top of the 257 foot tall church.
